GOVERNMENT WEBCASTING SOLUTIONS

INSINC's Government offerings provide comprehensive solutions for streaming audio/video broadcasts of government meetings, public hearings, announcements and other special events over the Internet.

  • Captures the video and audio of the meeting, encodes it and serves it live to viewers on the internet.
  • Creates and archive of the meeting so that it can be viewed at a later time by the public and by internal staff. This falls into the category of Video on Demand (VOD). Today consumers want their information and entertainment on their schedule not on someone else's. The Internet is filling that need and in doing so makes your council meeting more accessible for the public.
  • The full archive of the meeting is posted immediately by the system. But the product includes software that allows the clerk's department to 'edit' the meeting and match it to the agenda which appears in the video player.

EXAMPLE

See how your complete meeting can be shown live, archived or indexed to an agenda. Please click on the image below to view example player:

City of Coquitlam

The user simply finds the date of the meeting in the built in calendar the agenda appears and selects the item of interest . This is very convenient for the public and also saves a great deal of time for staff requiring information.

Members of the public requesting information can be referred to the web link or it can be emailed to them.

(Saves time, postage and is good for the environment)

Once the system is installed the users of the system, usually the clerk's department are trained and there is virtually no involvement with the IT department. It is simple and easy to use.
