| To check what version of Windows Media Player you have please perform the following: - open the Windows Media Player - select "Help" from the menu - select "About" - the version number will be displayed |

| To change this on a Windows machine please perform the following: - right click on desktop - select "Properties" - click on settings - increase resolution to 1024x768 |

| In order to view the presentation from a projector you may have to alter the Video Acceleration setting in the Windows Media Player. (If this is not set, you may only see black on the projected video). | |
| To change your Windows Media Player please perform the following: - open Windows Media Player - open the Tools menu option - select "Options…" - click on the Performance Tab - reduce the Video Acceleration tab to None |

| By default Microsoft Internet Explorer enables a 'clicking' sound every time a webpage loads. To remove the 'clicking' sound that loads whenever a new slides updates please perform the following: | |
| - open the Control Panel (Start -> Control Panel) - double click on 'Sounds' - click on the Sounds Tab - scroll down until you find 'Start Navigation' (located under 'Windows Explorer') - change the sound to '(none)' - click 'OK' |
