World of Soccer and INSINC Announce Partnership

Monday, July 10, 2006

World of Soccer (www.worldofsoccer.com) and webcasting company INSINC (www.insinc.com) today announced a partnership for the further development of the Byte Size Coaching program (www.bytesizecoaching.com) and other Internet-delivered soccer learning programs.

INSINC will host Byte Size Coaching and will immediately begin the development of additional functions and services to enhance the existing program including the implementation of an online video library.

Byte Size Coaching is an Internet-delivered curriculum that is purchased by community soccer organizations for the benefit of their coaches. The program provides easy and instant help for time-challenged volunteer parent coaches and is based on the content of the World of Soccer Coaching Series manuals authored by World of Soccer President and Technical Director, Tony Waiters.  Further content was added to ensure that balanced, fun sessional and seasonal practice plans are developmentally appropriate.

“Over 90% of all soccer coaches in North America are volunteers and the Internet is the ideal way to communicate with them effectively,” states Tony Waiters.   “We are delighted about this new partnership. INSINC has established an international leadership position in delivery of content through the Internet and will provide Byte Size Coaching the ideal platform to build on.”

A further significant bonus is that key management personnel at INSINC are soccer aficionados. President, Hugh Dobbie, and VP Operations, Ron Cuthbert played university soccer, coach youth soccer and are  both currently serving as volunteer directors with youth soccer organizations.

“We gain a unique perspective,” notes Waiters, “we have experts in the Internet field who are deeply involved on the soccer field as well.”

“INSINC is delighted to be participating with World of Soccer and the Byte Size Coaching initiative,” states INSINC President, Hugh Dobbie. “Access to quality coaching resources for volunteer coaches of young players is a huge challenge, Presenting Tony Waiters’ vast experience and soccer knowledge online provides tremendous insights for volunteer coaches in a simple to access and simple to use format.”
