WHL and INSINC Extend WHL WEB TV Partnership

Calgary, AB and Burnaby, BC  – Ron Robison, Commissioner of the Western Hockey League (WHL) and Interactive Netcasting Systems Inc. (INSINC) today announced plans to continue to build upon their WHL WEB TV broadcast partnership.   INSINC will webcast all WHL regular season and playoff games through completion of the 2010-11 season.  The WHL WEB TV games will be made available via the Internet live on a pay-per-view (PPV) broadband basis at http://livestream.whl.ca/ 

The WHL regular season games will be available on a PPV basis for $6.95 per game or fans can purchase a monthly pass for $37.95 for all Live games.   WHL fans also have the opportunity to purchase a Live and On-demand package of $59.95 per month or $299.95 for the entire season.   Archive games will be $3.95.   A season ticket package is also available for fans to catch all their WHL Clubs Live road games at only 89.95 a season.  Special scouting packages are also available.   Under the arrangements of the deal, INSINC will assist the WHL promoting the games through local market newspaper advertising.

This program gives WHL fans, as well as the family and friends of our players the opportunity to watch all of WHL games live, or via archive, over any broadband Internet connection in the world.  It also provides the opportunity to access games for pre-scouting purposes and as a development tool for our players and officials.

Webcasts for all teams will be made available from the WHL website located at http://www.whl.ca or on the WHL Club’s website.
