Platform Development

Developed turnkey platforms for a variety of uses

Having initially embraced the mantra of “Content is King”, INSINC entered the 2000’s with a shift in focus to “Distribution is Divine”.  Other content vs distribution comparisons evolved over the years citing  Distribution is Queen or Distribution is King Kong.   You get the idea – distribution is important!

Instead of panning for gold and trying to find the next big content hits, the company adopted the strategy of selling picks and shovels.  This resulted in a more focused investment in developing turnkey streaming platforms that could be used by enterprises, government, and eventually sports organizations.

This phase of INSINC’s growth saw the company onboarding new platform customers and turning the website MediaonTap into a leading showcase destination for the company’s streaming media customers in the sports, entertainment, business, technology, and lifestyle categories.  INSINC clients during this period included CTV Newsnet, Woodbine Entertainment, BC CTV, Vancouver Canadians Baseball, BCHL, Canadian Idol, Vancouver Film Festival, Canadian Press, Team 1040, CKNW, Vancouver Canucks, CHUM and others.

Press coverage of the company increased as the company expanded its offerings, acquired new customers, and launched new initiatives.
